Latest-Generation P-channel Power MOSFETs with Low On-Resistance
Toshiba has developed P-channel MOSFETs with low on-resistance based on the latest-generation process. These devices are intended to be used for power management switches of notebook PCs and mobile handsets, and for lithium-ion battery charge/discharge protection to help improve the power efficiency and reduce the size of such applications.
Features
- Achieves ultra-low on-resistance by combining the sixth-generation trench structure and Aluminum Strap connections.
- Offers high current and high power dissipation by utilizing the "Advance" packaging that offers high thermal performance.
- Fifth-generation process devices that offer low on-resistance are now available in small packages, such as PS-8 and VS-6.
- Intended to be used for wide range of applications, devices are available in packages of various sizes:
SOP Advance, SOP-8, TSSOP Advance, TSON Advance, PS-8, VS-8, VS-6
- Move towards lower on-resistance devices
