Storage
After removing the devices from their packing boxes, do not stack them directly on top of one another.
Mounting
- If dust or dirt on the surface of the window glass, a black mark may appear on the image.
Be sure to clean the window glass surface prior to use. Dust or dirt sticking to the window glass surface can cause black flaws to appear on the image.
Therefore, before using these devices clean the window glass surface.
(For example, wipe off the dust or dirt using a soft cloth or piece of paper dampened with a small amount of organic solution such as alcohol.) - When installing a CCD image sensor to a printed circuit board, do not perform lead forming. Toshiba recommend the use of an IC inserter or similar appropriate tool to attach the devices to the printed circuit board.
