DIP4 Reinforced-Insulation Photorelay TLP220 Series: TLP220A, TLP220D, TLP220G, TLP220GA, TLP220J
The TLP220 series boasts reinforced insulation performance with an isolation voltage of 5,000 Vrms (AC, 1 minute) between the input and output by using a double mould DIP4. The lineup featuring five different blocking voltages (60, 200, 350, 400, and 600 V) can be used in an extensive range of applications such as watt-hour meters (smart meters, etc.), factory automation (FA) systems, security systems, and so forth.
Taking into consideration the recent need to save energy, the TLP220 series can control the output side at a lower input current by reducing the trigger LED current (max.) from the previous 3 mA to 2 mA. We also have released another lineup that meets creepage distance and clearance requirements of 8 mm (min.).
These new products -the TLP220AF, TLP220DF, TLP220GF, TLP220GAF, and TLP220JF- are scheduled to be certified as meeting safety standards (UL, cUL, VDE, and BSI) and will be internationally accredited products.
