New Dual-Channel Photo-IC Couplers in a SO8 Package: TLP2105,TLP2108,TLP2166A
Toshiba has newly added three dual-channel photo-IC couplers housed in a new SO8 package.
Incorporating two channels in one small package, these devices help reduce board area by approximately 40% per channel compared to that of existing single-channel devices (MFSOP6 package). They can therefore help reduce size and cost of multi-channel applications. The totem-pole logic output enables the TLP2105 and TLP2108 to operate over a supply voltage range from 4.5 V to 20 V, thus allowing them to be used in a wide variety of applications offering a data rate of up to 5 Mbps (typ.). The TLP2166A offers a data rate of up to 15 Mbps (typ.) and operates at a supply voltage of 3.3 V making it suitable for high-speed and low-voltage applications.
