Surface-Mount High-Brightness LED Lamps : TLxx1050 and TLxx1052 Series
Toshiba has released surface-mount high-brightness LEDs with a colorless transparent lens, TLxx1050 and TLxx1052 Series, which are designed to be used for amusement equipment, bulletin boards, backlighting and portable equipment.
The TLxx1050 Series is available in a package with a Φ3.6-mm perfectly-circular lens, and the TLxx1052 Series is available in a package with a 3.6 × 4.4-mm oval lens.
Each series offers six InGaAlP LED lamps in red, orange, yellow and green, and two InGaN LED lamps in green and blue.

Please design the appropriate reliability upon reviewing the Toshiba Semiconductor Reliability Handbook (“Handling Precautions”/“Derating Concept and Methods”) and individual reliability data (i.e. reliability test report and estimated failure rate, etc).

- These LEDs also emit infrared light other than visible light.
If a photo detector is located near these LED lamps, please ensure that it will not be affected by the infrared light. - Since the TLxx1050 and TLxx1052 Series is intended to be used for display lighting, the measurement standard is based on the sensitivity of the human eye. It is not intended to be used for other applications other than display lighting (i.e., sensors and light communication systems).
- Ensure that the TLxx1050 and TLxx1052 Series is soldered within 72 hours after being taken out from the moisture-proof package keeping the following conditions: Temperature: 5 to 30°C; relative temperature: 70% or lower
- These LEDs also emit infrared light other than visible light.
