Optical Semiconductor Devices Product Introduction
TOSHIBA has a complete line-up of optical semiconductor applied products such as visible LEDs, optical sensors, photocouplers, and photorelays covering a visible light to infrared rays.
Visible LEDs
Featuring high brightness, multicolor, and abundant peripheral devices, TOSHIBA's visible LEDs contribute to lower power consumption, lower costs and higher reliability of various instruments.
Products list by features: Through-Hole Type
They are available for outdoor applications such as message boards, and pilot lamps.

Products list by features: SMD (Surface Mounted Device) type
TOSHIBA has a line-up of high-brightness thin packages ranging from portable devices to in-car usages.

- Flat-top type
- Lens-top type
- Middle Luminous Flux type
- High Luminous Flux type
Photosensors
Optical sensors include light emitting devices, light receiving ones, and compound ones combining both of them. They are used in a wide range of instruments, mainly for position detection.
