What is the difference between λp (peak wavelength) and λd (dominant wavelength)?

λp (peak wavelength) refers to a wavelength which produces the highest LED's emission intensity.

The sensitivity of your eye to a light, however, depends on the wavelength, and the LED' peak intensity differs from the wavelength of the color you sense. λd (dominant wavelength) refers to a single wavelength sensed by your eye.
