Today the need for energy saving and silent operation is as great as ever, and the demand for vector control based inverter motor is also increasing. We exhibits TMPM370 series microcontrollers containing a high-performance, high-code efficiency and low-power operation CPU, ARM Cortex™-M3 Core, as products to meet the demand.
TMPM370 series microcontrollers have a Vector Engine, which can reduce the load of software by supporting the complicated vector calculation. TMPM370 series microcontrollers also have a high-speed 12-bit AD converters, Op-Amps and comparators required for motor control.
As for flash memory, Toshiba’s original flash memory, NANO FLASH™ is embedded. NANO FLASH™ combines the best aspects of the cell device technology of NAND FLASH and the circuit technology of NOR flash, enabling high-speed programming and super low-power operation.
The demonstration for this exhibition is intended to be used for washing machines: A drum motor using the three-shunt control and a fan motor using the single-shunt control are driven simultaneously. Let us show you the difference of the CPU utilization rate used for computations for motor vector control depending on whether the vector engine is used or not.
We look forward to your visit at our booth!
