CMSIS - Cortex Microcontroller Software Interface Standard
Toshiba’s Cortex™-M3 microcontrollers are now CMSIS compliant. We will gradually replace the documents with those of CMSIS compliant.
The CMSIS is a software interface standard defined by ARM Ltd. which enables consistent and simple software interfaces to the processor for interface peripherals, real-time operating systems, and middleware, simplifying software re-use, and reducing the learning time for new microcontroller developers.
For details of CMSIS, see the ARM website.
