Microcontrollers Ideal for Low Power Systems and Battery-operated Applications : TMPM395FWAXBG, TMPM390FWFG

Toshiba announced that TMPM390 and TMPM395 microcontrollers have been developed. Either TMPM390 or TMPM395 has an ARM Cortex™-M3 core which is a de-facto standard core in the embedded microcontroller market, providing high code density and fast interrupt response times required for real-time applications. And TMPM390 and TMPM395 are ideal for low power systems and battery-operated applications. Low power operation with 1.7V to 3.6V supply is realized and a real time clock (RTC) is integrated. HDMI CEC commands and remote control signals can be received in 32kHz low-frequency operation, which significantly reduces standby power consumption of digital AV facilities. A small BGA package (6mm x 6mm, 0.5mm pitch) is adopted to TMPM395, and TMPM390 is packaged in a standard one (14mm x 14mm, 0.5mm pitch).

The phot is TMPM395

Features

(1) The ARM Cortex™-M3 core can utilize world-wide use software for ARM. The common development environment can greatly reduce the product development cost.

(2) 1.7 to 3.6V low voltage operation is ideal for low power systems and battery-operated applications.

(3) HDMI CEC commands and remote control signals can be received in 32kHz low-frequency operation, which significantly reduces standby power consumption of digital AV facilities.

(4) On-chip real time clock (RTC) and power on reset circuit reduce product costs.

(5) With the Toshiba NANO FLASH™ technology, an internal Flash memory up to 128KB and an SRAM up to 8KB are provided. Toshiba NANO FLASH™ technology has features of high-speed and low-power consumption.
