NAND Interface : mobileLBA-NAND
This NAND flash memory solution has a NAND flash memory interface, enabling logical address access.
NAND flash memory that makes use of the physical address access method is widely used today, but the problem with this type of memory is that the specifications for the host controller on the equipment or the driver software itself need to be changed in accordance with any changes in the specifications of the NAND flash arising from changes in generation. By using the logical address access method, this product reduces the burden placed on the device in order to manage differences in the specifications for NAND flash memory. It also enables such processing operations as block management, ECC processing, and wear leveling to be performed by mobileLBA-NAND.
In addition, the burden of developing a host controller on the device and driver software can be reduced and the development period can be shortened.
