Standard Logic ICs, Universal Schmitt Buffers (TTL Level Input): TC74VHCT9541AFT/AFK, T9125AFT/AFK, T9126AFT/AFK
We have developed a new lineup of universal Schmitt buffers that use a Schmitt trigger circuit and TTL level input,TC74VHCT9541AFT, TC74VHCT9541AFK, TC74VHCT9125AFT, TC74VHCT9125AFK, TC74VHCT9126AFT, and TC74VHCT9126AFK. These products are suitable as a measure against slow input or for waveform shaping in longdistance transmission in bus interfacing of TTL level signals or interfacing of a 3 V to 5 V level conversion.
The TC74VHCT9541AFT and TC74VHCT9541AFK have an 8-bit circuit configuration and their CONT input enables the switching between non-inverting output and inverting output. The 74 Series (74HCT, 74ACT, 74VHCT, etc.) 540 or 541 type function can be selected.
The TC74VHCT9125AFT, TC74VHCT9125AFK, TC74VHCT9126AFT, and TC74VHCT9126AFK are bus buffers developed by configuring the TC74VHCT9541AFT and TC74VHCT9541AFK with a 5-bit circuit (4-bit and independent 1-bit) to increase freedom with regard to dealing with bugs and board pattern layout.

Features
- The number of parts can be reduced.
An inverting or non-inverting output type can be selected by changing the CONT input pin. The TC74VHCT9541A allows selection between 8-bit non-inverting and inverting using the CONT input, and can easily replace the 74 Series 540 and 541 types. The TC74VHCT9125A and TC74VHCT9126A allow the selection between 4-bit non-inverting and inverting using the CONT input.

- A Schmitt trigger circuit is used for input pins.
Applications for interfacing between systems with long transmission lines and for interfacing of signals that have a gentle slope can be achieved. - TTL level input interfacing can be achieved.
Since TTL level input is used, directly connecting to the TTL level bus or a level conversion from 3 V to 5 V is possible. - A power down protection function has been added to the input/output pins.
Applying a voltage to an input/output pin is permitted during power off (VCC = 0 V) or when output is off. - TSSOP and US packages are available in the lineup.
The footprint of the US package can be reduced to 50% of that of the TSSOP package.
Uses
- Signal control and other functions around the IC. Mainly used in the following applications: FA, MFP, amusement equipment, car navigation systems, and LCD TVs.
