Intelligent Power Devices: TPD4135K, TPD4135AK
The TPD4135K/AK are the motor driver ICs rated at 500 V/3 A and housed in a DIP26 package. They are made from their predecessors by Toshiba, being optimized in their input threshold voltages so as to become compatible with 5-V drive microcontrollers. Employing a DIP package that has high-voltage, large-current pins on one side and control pins on the other side, and also secures enough pin distances between high-voltage pins allow for easy board layout of the TPD4135K/AK. In addition, the reduced package thickness makes the TPD4135K/AK be best suited for motor applications that has limitation in height.

Features
- Supports current detection using a three-shunt resistor.
- Requires no high-side driving power due to bootstrapping.
- Compatible with 5-V drive microcontrollers.
- Incorporates a three-phase IGBT bridge.
- Internal bootstrap diodes help reduce the part count.
- Incorporates fast-recovery diodes.
- Best suited for sine wave driving because of a minimum selectable dead time of 1.4 μs.

TPD4135AK: Thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout
