2.5-A Synchronous Rectification DC-DC Converter IC : TCV7100F
As digital equipment gets increasingly sophisticated, flat panel displays (FPDs) are moving towards larger screen sizes and higher pixel densities in recent years. At the same time, ASICs and SoCs at the heart of today's digital products are becoming increasingly dense, complex and large. This is driving the need for power supplies with higher efficiency, lower output voltage and larger current. To address such needs, Toshiba has developed a new DC-DC converter, TCV7100F.
The TCV7100F offers typical peak efficiency of 97% (@VIN = 5 V, VOUT = 3.3 V, IOUT = 0.5 A). It helps to cut system power consumption and reduce product size.

Features
- High efficiency : 97% (typ.)
(@VIN = 5 V, VOUT = 3.3 V, IOUT = 0.5 A, Ta = 25°C) - Oscillation frequency : 800 kHz (typ.)
- Reference voltage : 0.8 V ± 1% (@Tj = 25°C)
Applications
- Digital equipment
- Office equipment
