Bidirectional ESD Protection Diode: DF2B6.8FS
In addition to the conventional ESD protection diodes, Toshiba has introduced a bidirectional ESD protection diode. As with the conventional devices, the DF2B6.8FS provides ESD protection against both negative and positive voltage spikes.
The DF2B6.8FS can therefore be used for AC audio signals that have positive and negative polarity. The DF2B6.8FS also achieves high ESD protection (±8-kV contact discharge as per IEC61000-4-2). The DF2B6.8FS is best suited for audio signal lines.
