Shock Sensor Amplifier ICs
Shock sensor amplifiers are analog ICs that convert electric charge generated by a shock sensor into a voltage signal. They contain a high-impedance circuit to amplify low-frequency signals efficiently. The sensor/amplifier combinations allow a system to either stop the write operation or include a feed-forward operation to compensate for excessive shock and continue operation.
