MPD (Mobile Peripheral Devices)

In recent years, mobile equipment has been required to handle multimedia content of increasingly high quality. To meet the growing needs of multimedia applications, mobile equipment must quickly transfer huge amounts of data between baseband processors and peripheral devices. Moreover, multiple data transfer protocols have to be supported to accommodate various multimedia applications.

To address the needs of increasingly sophisticated and feature-rich mobile equipment, Toshiba offers Mobile Peripheral Devices (MPDs) that provide a wide choice of high-speed interfaces.

MPD(Mobile Peripheral Devices):Product Lineup

Toshiba's bridge and buffer ICs support various serial data transfer protocols, such as MIPI®, MDDI, to facilitate design of cellular phones.

The I/O expander IC makes enhancing the I/O capabilities of existing systems, including GPIOs, keypads, LED controls and timers, so easy. And its wide application field encompasses cellular phones, digital cameras, printers and more.
