Automotive Video Processors

Dual/Single-Picture Video Processors

TC9019x Series

Toshiba's automotive dual-picture video processors can display two independent pictures simultaneously thanks to the integrated frame memory. Additionally, the on-chip memory allows video signals to be overlaid with graphics data from a navigation system. Toshiba's video processors incorporate a video decoder(s), support various analog and digital video formats and allow optimal picture adjustment according to the specific LCD panel. The output stage has a T-Con, which adapts to LCD panels from multiple manufacturers.

This figure provides an overview of the Features of Dual-Picture Video Processors.

Product Introduction

Full, Multi-Standard Video Decoder: TC90104FG

The TC90104FG is a full, multi-standard video decoder, which supports not only a C-Video input, but also D1 and D2 component inputs. The TC90104FG can internally convert analog RGB signals from an external navigation system into a 6-bit RGB sequence using a synchronous clock to the LCD panel clock. The TC90104FG can thus be used for interfacing to an add-on navigational system.

2-Channel Multi-Standard Video Decoder: TC90105FG

The TC90105FG is a two-channel video decoder, featuring various picture adjustment functions, such as color management and dynamic gamma correction. It allows image rendering, according to the videos from automotive cameras.
