TB9061FNG Sensorless 3-Phase BLDC Motor Predriver
Ideal for several-ampere pump and small fan applications. Designed to be directly mountable on a motor with a few external parts.

TB9080FG 3-Phase BLDC Motor Predriver for Sine-Wave Current Control [Under development]
Brushless DC motor predriver IC designed to allow silent motor operation, which is increasingly required to offer a quiet cabin fro HEVs and EVs and during idling stop
The TB9080FG drives a motor with a sine current to deliver smooth and quiet motor operation. Additionally, the TB9080FG offers automatic lead angle control to improve drive efficiency.
The TB9080FG recognizes the target rpm of a motor from either the PWM duty signal or dc voltage. It then provides feedback control to match the actual rpm calculated from the motor's Hall signals to the target rpm.
Its applications include air-conditioner blower motors, battery cooling fans and so on.
- Pre-driver: Six built-in gate drivers (including charge pump for high-side)
- Stand-by Current: 50 μA
- Rotational speed control: Input signal for motor target rotational speed, either as an analog voltage or as a PWM signal, will be compared with actual motor speed measured via Hall inputs and regulated accordingly.
- Drive control: Generation of sine wave (up to third harmonic) current. PWM drive.
- Abnormal detection: Over Current / Over Temperature / Over Voltage / 5.9 v(VCC) Low Voltage / Over Temperature / Motor Lock Detection
- Operating supply voltage range: 7 to 18 V
