Toshiba Semiconductor & Storage Products Company Group promotes environmental communications with the aim of establishing a "recycling-based society"

The Semiconductor & Storage Products Company Group promotes environmental communication activities in cooperation with the local communities in each region where our manufacturing sites are located, both in and outside of Japan. We also promote activities to protect the natural environment in the areas around our plant, and transmit information about our environmental preservation activities through the press, exhibitions and various other media.
This chapter describes selected examples of our environmental communication and environmental protection activities carried out by certain factories during FY 2010.
