LED Drivers

Toshiba offers LED drivers that feature a high-speed serial data input, high current capacity, high LED current accuracy and fast output switching. Accurate local dimming is possible, thanks to a 16-output driver and a 16-bit PWM controller. Two LED drivers are available with different output voltage ratings (i.e., numbers of series-connected LEDs).

ASICs

ASICs provide great flexibility in upgrading digital televisions.
Toshiba has experience with many ASIC design projects for LCD TV applications. The ASIC/ASSP combinations will provide the TV functions and performance you desire.

You can use ASICs to enhance the functions of existing digital TVs. For example, you can improve the picture quality or increase the frame rate with minimal design changes.
